My little road trip around West Sussex last week took in some delightful villages in the most beautiful countryside - doesn't everywhere look so much better when the sun is shining?! One of the most gorgeous villages I found is Amberley tucked right in the heart of the stunning Sussex Downs countryside. Every lane had such heavenly cottages - it's the kind of place where you ooh and sigh with delight at every turn! Have a peep...
So pretty aren't they?

These are happy days. The sheer slog of a working life, commuting into the big city everyday, is behind me at last. More me time...to be creative, to explore, to pursue my love of all things vintage. With winter finally shaken off and the beautiful sunshine of the last few days what better way to spend it than on a little trip to the Sussex Downs?
West Sussex is such a lovely part of the country. One of the reasons I chose this area for my trip was to attend a very special vintage fair - Love Lane Vintage This deliciously pretty event is held in a little church hall in the beautiful village of Wisborough Green. Have a look...
Lovely isn't it? Especially in the beautiful sunshine. So on to the fair itself. Love Lane Vintage is all about shabby chic, pretty pastels, country, brocante style. Lots and lots of gorgeousness. It was a very busy event (as a vintage seller I can only dream of this amount of footfall!) but I managed to take some snaps for you with my iPhone (click on any to enlarge).
Enjoy!
Pretty villages stuffed with chocolate box cottages abound in the rolling hills of the Sussex Downs...next post!

Spent a happy day today heaving stuff around in my space at the Hertfordshire Craft Collective at Battlers Green Farm in Radlett today. I have so much new vintage and painted furniture I thought you might like a peak.
Anything catch your eye?
