It was the last chance for me to take for a summer day trip today. It's a two hour drive out to the Suffolk coast but I couldn't resist. Suffolk is a beautiful county. Remarkably unspoilt - reminiscent of England 50 years ago. I love the beautiful big skies, delightful villages, and all the lovely independent shops. Very tempting! After weeks of rain the sun shone and I did a whistle stop tour of all my favourite places - Aldeburgh, Southwold and Walberswick.
Pretty coastal cottages...
The tiny Picture Palace in Southwold...
and very tempting shops...
I love the Home and Garden shop at Snape Maltings...
