Chandeliers

I think I first fell in love with chandeliers years ago on a visit to Waddesdon Manor, owned by the obscenly rich Rothschilds family.

The chateau in Hertfordshire is crammed with the most wonderfully opulent chandeliers - like these

I have a couple of modest chandeliers in my own 'chateau'

Here's some more I like

Wowza! This is so over the top - I love it!

My favourite

I'm planning a stay at home weekend. Having a bit of a clear out. Maybe dust my chandeliers...

  5. So glad you all enjoyed them. I want one in my bathroom but I can't figure out how you hang a chandelier from a sloping ceiling!

  8. A chandelier can add so much elegance to one's home it is ridiculous. Love the crystal chandeliers in my opinion. Luxury at its finest!

  9. Oooh, I missed this post somehow. I'm glad I nosily scrolled down!! I love the look of chandeliers. When I was little, I'd gaze longingly at them through shop windows!

    These images are lush!
