Scarecrow Festival

After a difficult week in England we all need something to make us smile again. These photos from the village of Kettlewells Scarecrow Festival in Yorkshire this weekend put a smile on my face. Great stuff!

Have a good week  xx

  1. These are so funny, a village here in Sussex does this kind of thing, so charming in an eerie way!

  2. Yes they are a little creepy in that pagan, Wicker Man sort of way!

  3. Fabulous ! They're all great :0) Worzel and Aunt Sally bring back fond memories :0)

  4. Louise,
they are amazing! As said above, charming but a little creepy! I was lucky enough to start collecting jadeite because I also loved the color, years ago, before it got expensive and hard to find. My son who is in the Air Force got back from Lockenheath where he had been for a year and a half in Jan. and I am sorry I didn't make it there for a visit before he came home!
Thanks for visiting, I'm your newest follower.

  5. these are so creative! i dont think ive seen any around here, i remember going to cornwall on holiday once and seeing some though!
