J'aime armoires

There's something about an armoire that makes we go weak at the knees, especially those white shabby chic ones. Who wouldn't want to have this beauty in their home?

I've been looking for something similar ( and smaller) for simply ages. I've seen some reproduction armoires but they just look too - well - new.  Wouldn't it be great to pop off to France and track down an original in some old barn in a remote village?  Imported armoires are very expensive in the UK and much too big to fit my tiny cottage. 

Well finally this week I ended my search when I saw this sweet little cabinet at good old Laura Ashley - and on sale!  I think it's lovely and I can't wait for it to be delivered. I'm already planning what I'm going to keep in it - some pretty linens and lots of interior design and gardening books need a home.
